IS GOD OBSESSED WITH THE FEMALE VIRGINITY?

We all have a right to our beliefs and yes we all have a right too, to question those beliefs.

I keep thinking about the beliefs of some supposedly educated people and I can't help but feel bewildered by it.

So I boarded a bus after office hours, hoping to enjoy the beautiful playlist I had just customized, as a fence against the smelly, dusty and wicked traffic jam I was bound to face on my way home.

But today wasn't one of those days as I had just settled in and was about to arm my ears with my earpiece, when two girls just stormed the bus like a whirlwind and the ride suddenly became a nightmare for me.

They were two of them, they began talking so loud, oblivious to the other passengers, like we were invisible and they weren't even concerned that we could overhear their conversations, yet continued, loud and nonchalant and chatted loosely like lost birds.

I couldn't help but listen in, since the horns and the smell was too much to ignore and escape with my earpiece. So I resigned my fate and tuned in to RadioBus 99.night FM with other passengers.

As if things couldn't get any worse, the haggard and hungry looking guy that sat beside me suddenly screamed...

"Praiseeeeeee thaaaaa Loorrddd!"

It was so unexpected I almost jumped out of my skin,  and then he started preaching, and of course, it was about sex, trousers and women.

After he had gone on and on about fornication and putting on trousers, one of the girls now interrupted him and told him how she has been a virgin and is still a virgin but considering losing it to her current boyfriend because she couldn't cope with the level of need and poverty, keeping her Virginity had exposed her to.

I was dumbstruck

It didn't end there.

The second girl who was putting on trouser now confessed too, that since she lost her Virginity, things had not been rosy for her and she doesn't know if God is punishing her, as all her boyfriends usually dumped her and went for other babes once they got tired of her and became richer than they were when they met her.

This excited the preacher who told them that their sexual purity was necessary for God to bless them and that they were experiencing this bad luck because they lost their virginity and the other was putting on trousers and making devilish hair styles, so that was why things were not rosy for her and if she dares lose her Virginity, things will get worse for her.

He didn't end there, he went on to tell the second girl that all her ex boyfriends were stealing her star and when they sleep with her, they take her success, so that's why they were were they were.
Pun intended.

So I told him to shut up and sit down because I couldn't take it anymore. I told him to keep quiet and I told the girls that the reason their lives is the way it is, is because they are not only financially poor but intellectually poor and then I explained because I knew the English might be bigger than them.

The Pastor tried to talk and I told him if he opens his mouth, I brought out 1k and threatened to give the conductor the money so he will push him out and then offered him the money to sit down. The pastor collected the 1k, told me God bless me and sat down smiling...everyone in the bus bursted out laughing but I was not done. I was angry.

I continued, what manner of God will punish his creation because they had sex? Not just punish both parties, No way..he will single the woman and punish her alone, allowing the man to go Scot free.

So God in his infinite wisdom and limitless power, will request sexual purity from women before he blesses them while the men are free to have sex and collect stars?

So wait, God is so idle and macho, that he sits and watches women to catch them losing their virginity so he can punish them with poverty?

You won't hustle, you won't learn a new skill, you won't read and expand your knowledge so you can generate ideas, you will wait for a boyfriend or husband material to come and save you and not touch you till he marries you but spend and take care of you, why...because you are a virgin and a woman?

God is just bothered and obsessed with women and their virginity, the female organ is his priority and not the man.

A woman doesn't kill, she has never stolen, she doesn't tell lies or cheat but she loses her Virginity, and she is punished!

The virgins in the world today, what good has their virginity done?
Has it brought global peace?
Has it ended wars?
Has it stopped poverty?
Has it fought corruption?
Has it brought millions?

But losing it will now bring calamity...by God who created this women that think like this?

So you marry as a virgin and then your marriage will never crumble and crash?

Your husband will never cheat or look outside?

You will be given automatic ticket to heaven because you died a virgin?

You won't go to hell again, so you are free to steal, kill, lie and cheat..just stay a virgin and all your sins are forgiven...

Goddammmit who created you!

While you are tormenting yourself and believing your lack of ambition and drive to work, think with the brain God gave you and read so you can have ideas to help you, is nothing but sexual purity, you are exposed to people and situations that will keep taking advantage of you and your mediocre mentality to rip you off in one way or the other.

"Ogba, Ogba, Ogba...who dey come down!"

One of them asked and I quickly took her phone and dialled my number. Hopefully I will free this one from this mind slavery.
