The other woman

In as much as I am against misogyny and fight patraichy to the last

I still can't turn a blind eye to the disease that is prevalent among women

This diabolical desire to trap men and control them

Firstly, the internet is agog with women screaming men are scum,  men are dogs,  all men are evil

I don't bat an eyelid whenever I'm in the middle of a conversation where "men are trash" is projected

I know what I bring to the table and it's quality taste, so, such descriptions can never apply to me

I don't take such posts from women personal because I'm not getting converted soon to being trash

Hardly would you see a post on love and relationships without reading comments from women describing men with all manner of derogatory and despicable labelling

Yet...this is the part I never get to understand

This is inarguably one of the mysteries of the world

The amount of women scrambling for fetish means to trap men, both married, older, and wealthy ones, are much more than the scramble for Africa by the colonialists during the pre-colonial era

The number of women asking for blue eyed beads, diabolical anklets, fortified bracelets and more, from self professed digital witches and ogbanjes just to trap a man is alarming!

Worse, it's not even single men they are fighting desperately to trap by all means

It's other women's men

Married men, rich married men and fathers, men that are not theirs, other women's men!!!

Women don't aspire to intellectual success anymore.

They have become macho wealth hunters

This is not a blanket statement disparaging an entire gender.

It's not an affront to the legit successful women too!

It's just in the same league with "men are trash" gospel

Our young girls aged between 20's and early 30's don't want to work to become successful, they are on the same get rich fast lane with the yahoo plus guys.

Girls as young as 19 or 21 are willing to sleep with a dibia for a charm to trap another woman's husband

Women in their 20's and 30's, are willing to kill or spill blood just so they can get a diabolic bead or fortified anklet and place a man under a spell for financial security

Or patronize witches to secure the bag!

Our daughters no longer believe in working out their own success

They no longer have dreams of their own

Their entire existence is wrapped around the cock idea of a rich man

So they do anything to get one

By hook or by crook

Visit herbalists, sleep with dibias, patronize ogbanjes and known witches just to cast a spell on a man

Join and follow known self acclaimed witches and ogbanjes online, and beg in the comment sections for fetish ornaments to trap men

These same men they label scum and trash

Yet, they can't seem to do without having and keeping them

It's not enough to water down the gravity of their involvement by defending their actions as woke or fashionable, because we know they know they are not following and spending money buying this idea of  control for the fun of it

Only a beautiful nonsense will feel she needs a higher power to trap a rich man and secure the bag

No confident independent woman will go on instagram or facebook to buy blue eyed beads and fortified anklets to tighten their vagina and make them grow attractive

The second you feel you need extra to look more attractive for a man to keep him, you have lost him

And the second you go extra to keep him against his own will, you have lost you

May our daughters not grow with this mindset

May they not think that the liquid that drops from a manhood is oil and not sperm

May they not drink blood just to suck sperm from another woman's man

May they grow up and work hard,  smart and legitimately to make their own wealth

May they believe that men are not the key to success

But the partner when they are a success.

May they not grow to be Morally bankrupt and macho wealth hunters but wealth makers!

May the only bead they know is the one to wear and look beautiful for the sake of style, art and craft, not for some diabolical higher purpose.

Let's share the grace

Solomon's Lair!

Rated 18 Solomon's lair  I almost refused to go for the birthday party this year. Solomon always hosted a party every year, and as usual, I always gave the opening speech and acted as the MC too. I hated the drama and fake smiles all around. Each year, new faces present, old faces absent. New Friends present, Old friends lost, only me stagnant. I was always present as the best friend, the loyal soldier, meanwhile I was notoriously known for not celebrating my own birthday. It was so bad that most of my friends didn't even know my date of birth, just my age. Yes, it was that bad! It was an exhausting exercise for me. The cake and speeches, by God I hated the hypocrisy. So this year I swore to him by the old gods and new, that I wasn't gonna be in the spotlight of his special day. I just wanted to drink and chill quietly in solitude. Surprisingly, without any fuss, he obliged me. ''Obi is now a man o'' I smiled. ...

Riotous Love

I have always found Tony, my boyfriend, fascinating His write-ups and rants about bad governance and patriarchy got me wet and awestruck every single time I visited his timeline  Whenever he wrote a piece on Facebook and Twitter, he got thousands of likes and comments I always read every comment, especially from women who were mesmerized by his writing prowess I was once part of such women until I decided to shoot my shot, and, like cupid, I hit him straight in the heart A simple "Hello, I've read and enjoyed all your stories, maybe you could write ours someday, hope I'm not overreaching?" I had to drink almost a full bottle of bailey's to find courage for that stunt, and today, we are celebrating 8 months of the best love story ever. He was my Mr. Perfect, everything I could ever ask for and more It wasn't surprising when he asked me to join him and go for the peaceful protest here in Lagos, and like a love-struck puppy, quickly I jumped up and said yes That ...
