Less Religion, More Arts and Science

I watched the video of the young Nigerian man recieving stimulus in UK equivalent to over N300,000

A celeb confessed that he got paid by the U.S. Govt even though he had been deported years ago

He still got paid

These guys aren't white

They are as black as you, just privileged to have their data captured by a Country with sense

If the government cares enough to pay non-citizens, how much more her own citizen

Australia's stimulus package allows employees who are asked to stay home to receive $1,500 AUD (N359,292.32 Naira) every two weeks.

Britain's government is issuing grants to employees up to a total of £2,500 (N1,120,636 naira) a month. Including sick pay for employees that have been told to self-isolate.

Canada will give $2,000 CAD (N516,596 naira) each month for up to four months to those who've lost jobs due to the epidemic.

Students in Canada will receive $1,250 (around N430,000) monthly from now to August

Germany will pay 67 percent of net wages up to a maximum of €6,700 per month (N2,827,799 naira).

Ireland will give 70 percent of employee salaries up to a maximum of €410 per week (N173,044 naira).

The citizens are not jubilating or praying, they are just simply waiting to withdraw it.

These guys don't go to church and mosque like their life depends on it

They believe in economics not faith

While in Nigeria, we prefer to sleep on the altar and fast till we lose all the fat in our body and attack those who tell us the truth

And the truth is our religion stinks

Our faith is dirty

And our Christianity is a sham,  scam and a distraction

A friend told me how their headmistress told them that they won't be paid this month...Guess what, she is still sending them jobs to do from home

She has assured them that they won't be paid, yet she expects them to keep working at optimum capacity

You can't quit... If you do, you will be sacked and there is someone queuing to take your job

Your bosses know this

They get aroused, wet or erect as the case maybe, on the power your misery and desperation grants them

The average Nigerian oga or madam's favorite disciplinary measure is to cut or hold your salary

That's why our success stinks

But on Sunday, this same headmistress or oga will dress up and go to church in their Sunday best...or connect online and blast in tongues

Other countries are feeding their poor and paying their citizens, In Nigeria, our policemen refused to let a man take his sick mum to the hospital because of bribe, she died right there in the car at the checkpoint!

Our humanity is dead

Welcome to Nigeria where our healthcare is panadol and paracetamol standard

Our doctors will ask for Police report before they even look at the dying victim whose life they swore an oath to save

They are so desensitized to death, it doesn't faze them

But again, these doctors earn 3k hazard allowance, 3k... Thank God they have increased it now to 25k abi 30k

But our ill educated politicians who are morally, spiritually and intellectually bankrupt earn millions as risk allowance.

Nigeria earned over $500 billion in oil sales, and Billions more from relief funds and donations from both private, public and NGO's all over and keep getting millions and billions

Yet, not a single dime was paid as pallataives to the people

Now crude oil is as cheap as cocopops, our undies have been dropped and the real size of our manhood seen in the Global market economy!

In Abia, the Government is giving people one wrap of eba and eguisi soup

In Lagos people are being given one loaf of bread

In the East, they are giving one tuber of yam to each household and taking pictures of it!!!

The entire country has nothing to show for the billions we keep hearing about on a daily basis

One Governor is commissioning an average third-class isolation center!!!!

But let one building catch fire, and you will hear how 100 billion got burnt

In Nigeria, the rich are bad examples of success

Our wealth stinks

Our leaders are the most cursed and mocked

Their leadership corrupts

Yet they remain gallant in power

Boldly basking in their incompetence and daring you to do something

Oblivious to the national mockery, pain and hatred

Our political elites are the most hated and uninspiring rogue heads

Empathy is forced

Sympathy is bought

And humanity is lost as the death of our leaders is celebrated with pomp and pageantry!!!

Nigeria can never be developed and will never be!!!

Security is for sale and only for those who can purchase it, and it's mostly the criminals that enjoys premium security in Nigeria

A group of hungry, angry, morally dead young men are roaming and raiding houses, streets by street, unchecked, yet you will find checkpoints at every stop, with Police officers extorting people, if they aren't shooting them dead or letting them die!!!

Nigeria, who cursed us!!!

Nothing works

Not capitalism

Not Democracy

Not Humanity

Not even Chirstianity

Nepotism and Tribalism rule the day

We are not just corrupt, we are inept

Nigeria will never be well

Nigeria will never be rich

No amount of Amen and God forbid will change this fact

Nigeria will never develop

We were sick long before the Global epidemic, coronavirus only exposed the level of our sickness

The world is simply catching up, and guess what,  no matter how bad the world gets, it can't be as bad as Nigeria.

Today, comparing Nigeria and Ghana is like comparing unripe lime and sweet orange

But Nigerians will always find a way and keep developing wherever they are, we are an industrious and resourceful survivors

But in the Nigeria, Prayers don't work here

The same way salvation is useless in Hell, is the same way hope is dead in Nigeria

What we need in Nigeria isn't a miracle, it's a different kind of transformation

Information and Innovation is the miracle we need

We need more Education and research institutions not churches and mosques

Less religion, More Art and Science!

Idea transformation not spiritual

You don't pray for it

You study and think for it

Solomon's Lair!

Rated 18 Solomon's lair  I almost refused to go for the birthday party this year. Solomon always hosted a party every year, and as usual, I always gave the opening speech and acted as the MC too. I hated the drama and fake smiles all around. Each year, new faces present, old faces absent. New Friends present, Old friends lost, only me stagnant. I was always present as the best friend, the loyal soldier, meanwhile I was notoriously known for not celebrating my own birthday. It was so bad that most of my friends didn't even know my date of birth, just my age. Yes, it was that bad! It was an exhausting exercise for me. The cake and speeches, by God I hated the hypocrisy. So this year I swore to him by the old gods and new, that I wasn't gonna be in the spotlight of his special day. I just wanted to drink and chill quietly in solitude. Surprisingly, without any fuss, he obliged me. ''Obi is now a man o'' I smiled. ...

I hate my Job

Warning: Strong adult content 18+ I hate my job My boss, Miss Patricia, is a tyrant 40+, beautiful angelic face and even more perfect body, with a lovely smile, that she hardly uses, single mom of two beautiful teenage girls, whose pictures are hung everywhere in our offices. While her exterior is sweet and beautiful, her interior is dark and evil. Always barking orders at the rest of us, like children, her voice is so loud you wonder where she has the energy to scream in such a high note all the damn time She is so feared, her car horn is enough to immediately drown whatever noise or laughter is coming from the entire building The popular saying among us, her staff members, is that the fear of Patricia's horn is the beginning of wisdom I spent years searching for a job in the streets of Lagos, begging even, embarrassed by security men and spat at by lousy and saucy receptionists, to quit this one just like that. We die here! I was prepared to eat shit for as long as I could, so I ...
