The Woman is Enough

The devil went to the woman.

Not because she is weak.

But because she is intelligent enough to question accepted norms and beliefs.

She wasn't there when the rules were laid down.

Man might, might, might have said no... We will never know.... Because the serpent didn't approach him.

But the woman is intelligent and bold.

She is practical.

She questioned the "why" behind the order commanding them not to eat from one tree out of every other.

Then intelligent and calculative enough to convince the man to eat from the tree God told him directly and specifically not to eat.

One statement combined with the shaking of her buttocks, rolling of her hips and thrusting of her bosom, and Adam was rushing the fruit from the tree of life out of her hands like his life depended on it.

She was so beautiful, he was incapable of saying No.

She was so intelligent, he forgot God's instructions and order.

There was no other woman to compare her beauty to...yet she was the most beautiful, because she is one of a kind.

The woman isn't weak.

The woman isn't fragile.

The woman isn't inferior.

The woman isn't second class.

The woman is enough.

She is capable.

She doesn't need a man to complete her.

She doesn't need a man to complete her.

And lastly, she doesn't need a man to complete her.

If you are a woman, listen to this.

You are enough!

Take a stand today.

Learn to question laid down rules and customs, especially the ones that preaches submission because it favors one gender over another.

Learn to unlearn culture that doesn't favor you but empowers another over you.

Learn to relearn doctrines that take away your right of leadership and authority.

Learn to question laws that seem to rob you of your right to genuine expression of your opinion because it irks the status quo.

Learn to be comfortable in your gender and skin.

Learn to remain comfortable even if it upsets or causes discomfort to another.

Learn to be independent

You are enough.

You don't need muscles to be strong.

Neither do you need to grow a mustache to be tough.

Just find the right heels and you can walk on water.

Remember

The woman is enough.

Solomon's Lair!

Rated 18 Solomon's lair  I almost refused to go for the birthday party this year. Solomon always hosted a party every year, and as usual, I always gave the opening speech and acted as the MC too. I hated the drama and fake smiles all around. Each year, new faces present, old faces absent. New Friends present, Old friends lost, only me stagnant. I was always present as the best friend, the loyal soldier, meanwhile I was notoriously known for not celebrating my own birthday. It was so bad that most of my friends didn't even know my date of birth, just my age. Yes, it was that bad! It was an exhausting exercise for me. The cake and speeches, by God I hated the hypocrisy. So this year I swore to him by the old gods and new, that I wasn't gonna be in the spotlight of his special day. I just wanted to drink and chill quietly in solitude. Surprisingly, without any fuss, he obliged me. ''Obi is now a man o'' I smiled. ...

I hate my Job

Warning: Strong adult content 18+ I hate my job My boss, Miss Patricia, is a tyrant 40+, beautiful angelic face and even more perfect body, with a lovely smile, that she hardly uses, single mom of two beautiful teenage girls, whose pictures are hung everywhere in our offices. While her exterior is sweet and beautiful, her interior is dark and evil. Always barking orders at the rest of us, like children, her voice is so loud you wonder where she has the energy to scream in such a high note all the damn time She is so feared, her car horn is enough to immediately drown whatever noise or laughter is coming from the entire building The popular saying among us, her staff members, is that the fear of Patricia's horn is the beginning of wisdom I spent years searching for a job in the streets of Lagos, begging even, embarrassed by security men and spat at by lousy and saucy receptionists, to quit this one just like that. We die here! I was prepared to eat shit for as long as I could, so I ...
