Serial Ranter
How come everyone's talking about police brutality and no one is talking about doctor's and nurses brutality.
Our medical practitioners brutality is just as horrible and I dare say more horrendous than the police brutality we experience back to back, non-stop reality every breathing second.
I just came across the story of a woman that took her son to the hospital and the negligence and nonchalant attitude of the nurses on duty in the absence of the doctor or any doctor led to the untimely death of the poor child.
I don't want to go into details, you will cringe as I did at the gory experience she passed through the hands of the nurses and the doctors who were so bold and aggressive in their incompetence, the poor child died.
They didn't care.
This is one of thousands of other cases, even I have experienced first hand the evil and wickedness of our medical practitioners.
The police kill with reckless abandon with their guns and uniforms.
At least we recognize their inhuman and beastly mode on sight, we know if we keep dreds, keep beards, carry bags, own a laptop, dress and look good, wear a tattoo, drive a good car and just appear successful or be a successful young man with a car, you are a suspect and an endangered specie in Nigeria.
But when we get shot, mugged, stabbed, beaten, involved in an accident, or simply fall sick and rushed to the hospital expecting the men and women who wear white and pretend to want to save our lives because they swore an oath to do just that and maybe just love humanity, but instead meet another different kind of monster, the kind that wears white which symbolises purity but is as dark and even darker than evil, isn't that a fate worse than death?
Dying before dying.
Doctor's and nurses kill by refusing to save lives and their level of insensitivity and total disregard for human lives is beyond normal.
What's the difference between them and the police, each demand payment before service, bribery and corruption runs amok in both institutions.
So much responsibility on these bodies, yet so little accountability and humanity in them.
Those whose duty is to save lives are the ones taking it with impunity.
They either ignore you or act indifferent in a state of emergency, or simply scream and shout at you in your sick and dying state or vehemently refuse to attend to you until you get a report from their colleagues in black with a gun and a uniform or bribe them.
I think there are no lesser evil here.
Both are great evil
But the ones who wear whites yet operate from a special kind of darkness are a different kind of sick evil.
Say no to doctor's and nurses brutality.
End medical practitioners brutality
All lives matter!!!
Which way Nigeria?
