*African gods On Exile*
•I am a dinosaur in Africa, endangered and a threat to any enemy,
•I breathe fire like a dragon and very fearless like a tiger.
•My kind are no more, they're free slaves in London and China.
•Sold out by the "already made lovers" who are afraid of little beginning.
____________________________
•I protect the city from collapsing but my bosses treat me like a snail.
•My abilities are not recognized in the class of other mammals placing posterity at risk
•I feed like a lizard in the abundance of meat because I have no nectar to entice the butterflies on seat.
•But how am I to give nectar when my breathe is pure fire and my stampede is like that of a thousand soldiers?
____________________________
•I am a slave in my hometown Africa but the least of my kind is celebrated in Asia
•It's no crime to be black if the foreigners reject my color and accepts my strength
•But it's so painful to be black in a loamy soil and be overlooked in the peak of my prime.
•Once the call for an asylum abroad is heard , I'll saddle my donkey and answer, till honor blesses the turf that wraps my clay.
____________________________
•Things fall apart in Africa and the half of the yellow sun will never be full again.
•The grey hairs will substitute pains for their hunger while their pillow is overlaid with diamond stones.
•Famine and mockery are African twins in their gestation and greed is the reincarnated Mary Slessor that will stop their killing.
•When their birth comes, there will be no savior for Africa because African gods are on exile with the dinosaurs...
____________________________
Dedicated to all African geniuses that have been stolen from us by the first world countries. Africa rising is a dream that can only come true when humanism is embraced and intelligence celebrated.
